I really wanted to love her. I actually saved up for it as the Cole Haan Zero Grands are supposed to be very comfortable. Unfortunately they are not as great as I had hoped. I'm 6'3", I've lost to 225lbs and wear a size 12 most of the time. I have issues with some brands like (tick) in terms of width is good to give a comparison and reference. Like a heavier type and I'm on my feet all day, my feet are pounding and I have some foot ailments like occasional plantar fasciitis. So I was looking for comfortable and supportive shoes (dressy and casual) and these should be my work shoes. They look great and so do I love that the upper is a bit stretchy and breathable I bought a size 12 regular width but unfortunately they are still too narrow (even with a slightly stretchy top) for my out of the box Hobbit- Legs.I don't have to buy 2E's either (other than the swoosh brand mentioned above unless I'm gaining size) most of the time. They're long enough, although a 12.Other than that I wore a shoe stretcher for a couple of weeks and now they are basically wide enough that I can wear them for shorter workdays. That being said, they don't provide enough arch support and the heel feels very stiff/sharp as it's even sharper than 90 degrees so your feet don't roll off as well when walking. It's almost as if instead of having an outward curve (convex) like some shoes designed for this movement, it's almost as if it were slightly concave and curved upwards (still without supporting the arch of the foot). Again, I really wanted to love them but they just aren't as comfortable or supportive as I was hoping! (I'd really like to find a pair of classic shoes that are as comfortable as comfy three-stripe flip-flops.)
