SO TIRED OF USB PROBLEMS. I don't know why I've kept struggling to get these damn things (I have several of them) to work reliably with USB hot-plugging, not generate random data errors with high-speed USB UARTs, and so on. On a recent work project I switched to a Raspberry Pi (relatively less powerful) and it's a relief to have a reasonably reliable USB connection to the host. I've had Beagle boards since my first one and the BeagleBone Black really annoyed me. Not just me, google for BBB USB problems; This is a common problem with this board.
