A thoughtful cistern repair becomes a bad idea

I learned from hard knock school here that two different sizes of rubber washers and screws can be universal, but my toilet's cistern is a very specific size and thickness has requirement. And none of the rubber washers or grommets fit well enough to stop the leak. In the future, I will order these parts based on the make and model of my toilet bowl.
