I have changed 2 racer chairs in 3 years. They either have a crack in the base where the wheels fit, or the armrests are starting to move. The design of this chair eliminates these problems. Full base - metal. There are no wheels and the armrests are awesome. They won't lean forward because they're screwed right into the back. If you are looking for a gaming chair option, this might be the one for you. PS I removed the footrest, my feet are too busy lol. Update: July 8, 2020 Almost a year. and halfway through the chair is still holding tight. I had to retighten the bolts twice, but it's probably been a year since I last did so. Barber chairs will be my gaming chairs in the future. Nothing ripped or torn :)
