Fits well on my spare tire Michelin 225 70 19.5. However! Based on other reviews they say it doesn't fit. I put mine in the sun, let it get nice and pliable, slowly threading it around the tire a bit like you should thread a tire to make a rim. Make the bottom seam first, then work your way up to ease the stress on the bottom seam. I put mine on and yes as long as it fits snugly! Despite being so careful, I did a few stitches on that bottom seam, so I think the stitching isn't up to scratch. I repaired this seam while it was still on the spare. But now I'm worried that undressing and dressing won't work. My old hat (2004) was so thin on top from the sun that I kept it upside down for several years before purchasing this hat. My old one was just as difficult to put back on as the new one. but I never shared the stitch on the old one.
