I don't understand the importance of aquariums. Considering that fish tend to spend most of their lives in a muddy puddle surrounded by mud and grass, I imagine most fish would be just as happy spending the rest of their lives in an old one Plus, my wife wanted it, and as long as I didn't have to worry about the damn thing, I was in. As long as the fish are still alive, my wife usually remembers to clean the tank about once. every ten years or so, and the snail (now deceased) was only sucked into the filter two or three times before dying. I have to say that the tank size seems as optimal as possible from a fish perspective for a beta and a couple of snails. Unless one of them died. But I'm pretty sure it's my wife's fault anyway. Because this tank is essentially a cube, I can easily use it as a bookend as well, making it a dual-use option, which in turn saves money. victory in everything. Besides fish, has anyone found any great uses for these tanks? Let us know in the comments. Curious minds and such.
