I needed to hook up 12 volts to the back of my truck for my camping cooler and it fit the bill. Installation was easy and the connector is tight and secure. Also great is that there is a way to moisturize it and prevent water from getting in. I applied hot glue to all the contacts after connecting the wires to waterproof the connections in case they got splashed with water from the back of the truck.
