After reading other reviews I was a little worried about the size and color of these stones but when they arrived those fears were unfounded. These stones are perfect for what I ordered to cover the soil in my potted plants. They are smooth, shiny and white. Photo paper is not white, but white enough for what I need. And while the amount needed to adequately cover potting soil is less than I expected, the cost is still relatively high. I deducted 1 star because of the relatively high price. Otherwise the product is 5 stars.
