This was purchased to help my elderly family member get up and keep turning the lights on and off. This device didn't help at all, when the light went out it stayed off for maybe a minute and then came back on by itself and when the light came on it went off. I've repeatedly tried resetting this device according to the instructions in the box, didn't help, and I bought two of these, one for me and one for my family member who it could really help, but it didn't help. So now I've spent money on this product and because I really want to help my family members I need to buy another one that hopefully works
