Port during a storm is best paper and plastic

Where I live we need to phase out plastic bags which is a good step towards protecting the environment as our techs have done to move away from biodegradable materials. Plastic bags that passed a brief test a few years ago. With the exception of one application, namely the disposal of "wet" rubbish, leftovers and the like, we could live well with this restriction. All sorts of things go on the compost heap, but the fat, bones, cartilage, etc. that have been ground off still have to go somewhere. These bags are the right size for under counter containers, are very thin so are more likely to break than grocery bags that last so long, and are inexpensive. Sometimes we have to compromise and that's it for us. On the other hand, we're not even idle for 15 minutes on a cold winter morning, so we might even go out.
