Purchased for PCIE x1 and VGA port. Use it on a cheap Ryzen/FreeBSD system to access the BIOS and console. The included low-profile brackets can only be used side-by-side due to the length of the VGA ribbon cable. If you have to jump over an expansion slot like I did, you'll need a different VGA mount. one that places the VGA connector on the opposite end of the expansion slot. I used an MSI GT 710 bar lying around. Also remember that the DVI connector is DVI-D, not DVI-I. I have a number of DVI-to-VGA adapters but they were all DVI-I; not compatible with DVI-D. This would be a deal breaker for me if it weren't for the stock low profile VGA mount.
