base that matches the bottom bracket and over-tightens the cross-bolt by 3mm. I had to file both to fit between the bracket to align the screw. The tip, which screws into the barrel, isn't a 5mm hex, it's just a flat punch on the end. You'll need to clamp it with a vise to hold it while you tighten the nut. The rubber pads running from the top of the trunk are smaller than the stock ones and don't fill the whole can properly. This should not be called a genuine replacement. Some adjustments are required.
