I took it out of the box thinking the water tank was a different box and the block was in there. It's so cheap that the thin plastic walls warp when you fill the tank, making it difficult to put the tank on the device when it's full. The manual was written in English by 3rd Works and it even states that the humidistat doesn't work very well. Yes, I'm not joking. It also doesn't go below 55% humidity, which isn't bad if it works at all. At 55% it stays on all the time, flooding the room. I bought this because it was a bit more expensive because I wanted one that would last a while - IT IS NOT! Even if the hygrostat worked, I can't get over the cheap build quality. Send it back - buy the same block as last time at half price. How anyone can rate these 5 stars is either lying or having very low expectations.
