I am absolutely satisfied with my purchase. I ordered a large size not knowing if it would actually cover the edges of our bed and was amazed at the quality. The duvet was packed in a very nice zippered bag. I opened it up and put it on our guest bed to let it loosen up before putting it on our bed. (I didn't notice any odors when I opened the package.) When I went back to the guest room to check the progress (2 hours) I was very impressed with how big it got, every square was plump! King bed and was impressed again. The size is excellent, completely covering the edges of the mattress. Since I put it on the bed in December, the folds keep falling out and the good fluff when making the bed makes it nice and plump. The ceiling looks beautiful. I plan to buy a duvet cover for it but used it with a top sheet underneath until I found a duvet that I like. The blanket is relatively light. It keeps us comfortable. We weren't too hot and not too light where we're cold. I love that this blanket has a high thread count cotton cover. It doesn't make much noise and I haven't had any feathers yet. If you decide to buy this, order it! You will like it!
