Review on 12-Slot ZWILLING Knife Drawer Organizer by Alex Montgomery

Got the first one, it was weirdly crooked. As other reviewers have said, this is because the good solid parts of the knife block are attached to 1/4 inch thick softwood. I believe the cold position or even the storage position will deform it. Anyway I called Revain who immediately sent a replacement which was also deformed. This one was less warped so I left it because I just put a washer under one end to keep it from rattling and it still works fine. It looks great in the drawer, I like it functional and the warp really doesn't detract from use. It annoys me a little because it's deformed, but I think my husband will find a way to fix it eventually. Meanwhile, it's a little disappointing that Henckels continues to back something with such a serious design. I would happily pay $10 for better bottom material. If the warp doesn't bother you, do it.
