I bought these to keep water out of my gloves while I wash the bath - it happens to be the home of rescued painted turtle 'Simmy' and her pink minnow friends. she had to eat. And pink minnows appeared! None of the fish people in my world have ever heard of such a thing! They hold water, which is why I chose these gloves. The hand part (red) has a t-shirt-like lining, which makes it easier to put on the gloves with your hands and also feels comfortable when wearing them. I chose not to give all 5 stars for two specific reasons: 1) The elastic at the top is REALLY tight and gets very uncomfortable towards the end of work. 2) I have small hands! and these gloves are tight and require a little work to remove. Overall they were just what I needed to get the job done and they work.
