Review on LilyPadz® Reusable Silicone Nursing Regular Feeding by Amanda Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

MUST be bought for Nursing! V

This is a MUST HAVE for every breastfeeding mom and my gift to new breastfeeding moms :) on them when I was breastfeeding my first son. The disposable pads which are basically diapers for your nipples have made me VERY itchy and uncomfortable, plus I had to remember to bring extras and pull them off to feed or pump and then use a different set just because the glue doesn't work Stick reusable fabrics, while much better for the environment, would never stay in place because they had no glue on them and were so noticeable under my shirts that it looked like I was making a fashion bullseye statement. lol: NOT ATTRACTIVE! IT'S PERFECT! And the new ones are a little thinner, hold up better, are more comfortable and COMPLETELY invisible! YES, LilyPadz! The only advice I would give to a newbie is to feed/pump or otherwise remove them at least every 8 hours to allow the nipples and areolas to BREATH, LOL and prevent leaks. Please note: you SHOULD NOT SORP UP MILK, they depress the nipples a bit to prevent them from leaking in the first place! I think it's an innovative concept, but it's even more important to take them off regularly. You can swim, sweat and even "do what you need to" in them without worrying about them leaking lol! If you are breastfeeding you MUST have a pair! Or two! :D Happy breastfeeding, dear ladies! :)
