The quality and packaging were top notch. I salute Rough Country for this, some of the best I've tried with lighting detail. In general, the light quality seems to be very high. The reason for my 1 star review is very simple. The included instructions are for mounting the lightbar to a horizontal surface using the lightbar mounting brackets. My lightbar attaches to the hood of my Jeep JK using Rough Country hood mounts that attach to the sides of the light. bar. But there were no instructions in the box on how to do it. No, it's not that hard to understand, but since I've never done it I'd like to avoid it. Luckily I've seen enough lighting installation videos to do this fairly well. So I wish Rough Country had instructions for both assembly situations.
