Gives wrong readings

It's difficult to pull the filament in the beginning, you can get to the point where the switch is, but beyond that it's difficult to feed. Second, and this is a more serious issue, there is too much lateral play in the shifter. So much so that it can move towards the filament and give false readings. Pass it on if you don't want to try to change it.
