This alarm is loud and easy to use. To activate the alarm you just need to pull the little chain, tye deactivate it you just need to push it back in. It comes with the battery and is ready to use. I wear mine around the neck on the lanyard. I keep the lanyard in my purse and put it on when heading out. In my personal opinion that’s the quickest way to reach unless you are walking with the alarm in your hand. It’s loud enough to create distraction and everyone Will likely turn around and look. This is not exactly jet engine type of loud because I’ve been around jets taking off and it’s much louder. I wish it were even louder.
