Review on Blazer C6350A Amber Magnetic Emergency by Dave Hunt

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Exactly what I need but poor design

These lights are hard to find but this one is perfect for my purpose. However, the design is bad for two reasons. First, the battery compartment is only accessible by unscrewing the magnets. In this case, the nuts on the bolts will slip and fall into the light compartment. To put them back in place I had to remove the lens and headlights. I then taped the back of the nut socket with tape to prevent it from falling out again. Therefore, you have to disassemble the entire flashlight to insert the batteries. The second downside to the design is the magnets. The lamp has two donut magnets located in metal housings. The magnets are embedded in the metal. I would have preferred a large rectangular magnet protruding from the metal case. I'm concerned that the headlights will slide off the trailer and fall off when towing. I have ropes tied to it that I will tie to the trailer so as not to lose it when towing.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
