These things are extremely well made. The metal is thick and they are very sturdy. The magnets are powerful but not so powerful you have a hard time taking the shelf off and repositioning it. They are formed really well and have a slight bend on the lower portion that rests against the cabinet you are putting them on so that there is an ever so slight backward rake toward the cabinet so things you put on the shelf don't fall forward and fall off. They also have a rubber guard along the edge to prevent metal on metal contact so it wont mark up the cabinet you put them on. Like I said, really well made and well designed. Very, very pleased.
