My April 2006 BMW 330xi misfired. Use an odb2 scanner to find the problem (some auto parts stores offer a free scan when you have a service or the check engine light is on), misfire on cylinder 3. Replace the coil packs on cylinder 2 and 3 and the misfire followed the coil pack to cylinder 2. I watched a few youtube videos and just swapped them out after removing the plastic to get to them. The car works like new again! Of course it would be better to buy all 6 higher quality German coils, but that's enough for now.
