My almost 70-year-old father just completed his second total knee arthroplasty at the beginning of March 2021. The first exchange was on December 1st, 2020 when we bought this pillow in preparation. He used this both times for the first two weeks after surgery) and it helped with sleep comfort, swelling, bruising, movement etc and also provided more surface area for ice packs to rest on. I think this was critical to his positive outcome, speedy recovery, and minimal use of potentially addictive narcotic painkillers.
