Review on 🚰 InSinkErator H-HOT100SN-SS Instant Hot Water Dispenser System, Stainless Steel Tank, Satin Nickel, 1 by Tyler Kota

Excellent. One step away from installation

Instant hot water is a nice little convenience, but the HOT100 suffers from an annoying design flaw that causes the dispenser button to stick. To fix the situation, you need to disassemble the faucet. So let me recommend that you take the initiative and make a small adjustment BEFORE you install this device. The problem is that Insinkerator chose to add a small rubber pad around the base of the button. For some reason this seal prevents the knob from moving so it can get stuck in the down position causing hot water to flow down the sink without an easy stop. We tried the WD40 to no avail, and I ended up leaving a small screwdriver and a couple of vices by the sink to wrestle with the knob when needed. One Saturday I had some free time and I found a YouTube video made by someone who was just as frustrated as I was. (Finding a Stuck Hot100 Button - Video by Late Guest) I removed the faucet, loosened a few screws, pulled the button out from under the faucet body, removed the small rubber grommet and put everything back together. Since then the button has worked like a charm and never gets stuck. I hope this little tip helps you and you enjoy your little instant hot water mod!
