Works perfectly. - Vehicle Security

This worked very well for me. I powered the reverse lights on my 2005 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and when I put it in reverse the camera turns on automatically. Installing the camera on the license plate was very easy. You need to know a little about electronics to hook it up to reversing lights, but it's very simple. I have a 4 door Tacoma with a 6 foot bed and the RCA cable that came with it was about 2 feet shorter. I tried to do a clean install so I've come a long way if you know what I mean. I added a 3ft RCA extension and it worked. The mirror snaps easily into place. At first I had an issue with the weight of the mirror which caused the whole assembly to end up pointing down the road after a while, but I fixed that by adding some Loctite to my mirror's ball joint. Now there are no problems. The picture is clear and I can see very well even in the dark (reversing lights on). The field of view is not large enough to capture EVERYTHING. You can stand very close to the bumper next to the taillight and not be seen, but that's not a big problem for me. This is an extremely small blind spot. The lines on the mirror won't exactly match what you will encounter, just use common sense. I haven't had any problems with moisture in the chamber. I live in Louisiana and wake up to the fog almost every day. I had no issues with camera fogging or moisture build-up. In general, this is very good. I recommend.
