Slowly drain the gear oil. Noisy. Gets hot, possibly overheating. The suction hose is too short to reach F150 pickups. The contents of most transmission pans cannot be completely removed, especially with deep designs. The pallet will most likely contain around 50% of its capacity. Therefore, this pump is only conditionally suitable for pumping gear oil. Used on a 2000 Jeep. fallen transmission pan; about 3 liters left after the pump has stopped pumping oil. Be prepared for oil spills. Have an old drain pan handy - you're going to need it!
