Read it first in Engine Parts

The first thing you need to do. Pull out the 4 screws from the front. Then remove the 3 screws from the pump cover, metal plate. Prelubricate the inside of the rotor. Then turn over and prelubricate all bearing and bushing points on the engine. Front and back. Use 3 in 1 oil. Then, before reassembling, tighten the motor bolts as they are most likely loose. Lubricate them with super glue as they will vibrate. After lubricating everything, lubricate the white gear if you have lithium grease…

SATISFACTORY USEFUL FOR PUMPING GEAR FLUID; PREPARE DRAIN WHEN REMOVE PAN

Slowly drain the gear oil. Noisy. Gets hot, possibly overheating. The suction hose is too short to reach F150 pickups. The contents of most transmission pans cannot be completely removed, especially with deep designs. The pallet will most likely contain around 50% of its capacity. Therefore, this pump is only conditionally suitable for pumping gear oil. Used on a 2000 Jeep. fallen transmission pan; about 3 liters left after the pump has stopped pumping oil. Be prepared for oil spills. Have an…

Great little pump, time saver, quick oil removal

I've unpacked the pump and checked the kit parts and they all look great and solid. I'll post an update on pump performance when I change the oil this weekend. Update: I mounted the hoses to the pump (easy) and pumped out the oil in my scooter. I added 20 drops of the thin oil I had (gear oil) to pre-lube the pump before turning it on for the first time. As you can see in the video, the pump quickly removed a liter of oil from the scooter. Engine. Make sure the outlet hose is attached to the…

Worked great!: Engine parts

We bought a 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara in April 2021. A few weeks ago we were changing the oil and found that the drain plug had snapped off, it was just spinning. I've been offered over $700 to replace the steel oil pan if they can't pierce. Ouch. So, found this and for $24.99 thought it might be worth a try. Worked great! The car had just been broken in, so he let it cool for about 15 minutes. I assembled the pump according to the instructions. Insert the small hose into the dipstick holder and

Does its job without much effort and fuss

I didn't like the soldering on the motor so I soldered the wires into the holes on the 12V motor. I also checked the alignment of the three pairs of vanes in the suction pump and aligned them all so that the convex surface was in contact with the machined wall of the pump's inner surface to prevent abrasion when running dry. The pump outlet was a little sudsy, but reliably pumped oil out of the engine pan. I really liked the separate on/off switch so that you don't have to disconnect the power…

Suck like a champ!

I drove the car until it warmed up. Allow to cool slightly so that the oil does not get too hot. Prime the pump on both sides with 3-in-1 oil. Connect the hoses in the direction of the arrow. at the pump. Make sure the pump is turned off before connecting to the battery posts. Oil filler cap removed. I turned on the pump and after a few seconds the old oil reached the pump. They kept pumping until air appeared in the intake manifold. Then I turned the pump off and waited 5 minutes, after the…

Not impressive performance

Upon unboxing I was immediately disappointed with the lack of quality of this product. A typical budget PDA production. I just assembled the pump and changed the oil in the boat. The engine was started to bring the oil up to operating temperature as recommended. Cheap alligator clips were attached to clean battery terminals, a suction tube was inserted into the dipstick hole, and the power switch was flipped to the ON position. The pump started and then stopped abruptly. After several switching
