Review on 🧰 Rockwell RK9002 JawHorse Sheetmaster Workstation - Ultimate Portable Solution by Rick Ross

Great tool but not used as much as I thought

I decided to buy it with the JawStand to use when building a workshop building but so far I don't use it as much as I used to . imagined I would. Maybe based on all the rave reviews my expectations were a bit high so I figured this would be something I would use on a daily basis. I'm not berating the tool - it's very cool - just saying I don't use it all day every day like I thought I could. In fact, I only used it for special purposes. and it came in very handy for those tasks. Those chores were welding (I added a welding kit) and more recently a clamp held the bead roller in place. It immediately proves to be the ideal tool for certain tasks. At our workplace we have a couple of regular, battered construction horns, as well as a JawHorse and a JawStand. We throw most of the wood at old wooden goats instead of stone wells. For example, with the JawHorse, there doesn't seem to be much need to clamp the cleat. When I first got the JawHorse, I was trying to walk through a stack of cuts on something, and that's the last time I actually remember using it to frame lumber. It's just a lot easier to throw it over a bunch of goats that are always around where we work. The quality of the tool is generally excellent, with the exception of (1) the hardware should not be galvanized as a few nuts and bolts are already starting to rust from being in my fairly wet work area this winter, and (2) a die yellow slide looked a bit out of shape, too wide than the designers probably intended. An extra welding kit is placed on top of this and I had to fold the edges back in to allow the welding kit to slide as intended. No wow what a deal. just like the manufacturing variance. All in all it's a beast and not cheesy at all. These are the only two items. The rusty hardware is the biggest surprise given the JawHorse's fine build.
