Plastic and thin!
I bought this because it fits in the cup holder next to my steering wheel. Some of the other similar ones looked much sturdier and I even ordered one of those first. Unfortunately it was only installed on the dashboard, which was not suitable for my car. This is completely made of plastic. Not good value for money. I'm not sure how long it will last and it's a bit wobbly when I'm driving. Just take a look.
