Worked great for replacing CFL
I purchased these to replace my CFLs in the kitchen. I was able to easily modify them by cutting off the screw-in base adapter and wire to the existing ceiling can. (I followed an online YouTube video that explained how). These are very bright and having the ability to adjust the color temperature is a big plus, since I was not sure what setting would be best for my situation. The springs hold the lights flush against the ceiling and look great.
