Suitable for home use if you plan to travel

I bought these during the pandemic so I wouldn't be tied to a computer. They work quite well and overall I would recommend them with some reservations. I encountered some technical issues with my microphone and audio that had to be addressed by the tech support team at work. You had to go pretty deep into the audio menus to get the mic and headphones to work together - I didn't catch the details, but it was moderately difficult and a layman wouldn't be able to figure it out. They started by right-clicking on the speaker icon in the lower-right corner of the Windows window. Problem: I couldn't hear customers' conversations, which you understand is a serious problem. But they got it. The mute button could have been a lot better. You have a button on the mic itself, or you can tap the earpiece on the same side where the mic plugs in. In both cases you will hear a female robotic voice saying MUTE ON or MUTE OFF, which will sound for about 2 full seconds. about everything the other interlocutor is talking about. It would be far better if the mute effect was instant and not an awkward step in a conversation, especially if you're trying to do it quickly. Other than that, it works pretty well. It's not a very tight seal for your ears, so don't expect outside noise to be blocked out when you're in a noisy environment like a farm. The earcups are mostly flat and fit fairly snugly around the ear, but don't wrap around it. If you work from home and want to be able to walk into the kitchen while speaking to a client, these are great.
