If your salt lamp is European bulb size, just buy one of these, it will save you a lot of heartache in the long run. I bought a very nice salt lamp for my wife and the bulb blew out the moment I turned it on, my wife was not impressed. I took out the bulb and tried to combine it with the usual fancy bulbs I had at home but to no avail. I went to the hardware store thinking I bought the right bulb, but again I was wrong. After a bit of internet searching I found that this was a size not common in the US so finding replacement bulbs was always a problem. So I went to Revain and found this replacement that uses standard bulbs and 'voila', a day and a half later I pocketed my wife's pink stone and it lit up pretty well and she thought it was a cool gift after all.
