I bought a 1977 built ranch. The humidity in the room reached 85%! It's in New York. I tried another Revain whole house dehumidifier that is high quality and made in China but it didn't work. I then bought it together with the controller and put it in the air duct return box of my heat pump. To make it work well on a really humid day, setting the humidity to very low, e.g. B. 40-45% to keep the device stable and not shut down in the 3% range of your setting. You don't have to do this on a less humid day. If it's really wet, just set it to low and let it run. It will retain moisture. Great unit! Lots of work to restore the supply when your attic is as cramped as mine.
