Review on 🎨 Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour Studio Set, 10x 37ml Tubes by Lori Aguirre

WHAT IS IT: I recently started painting with oils so I decided to start with emulsions. Visit W&N's Artisan website for detailed answers to questions about what these products are and how to use them. That made my decision easier. They are also environmentally friendly. These are oils whose chemical makeup is slightly altered to have a water soluble "tail"; Once the colors have dried, the oil remains and it has the same chemical properties as standard oils. APPLICATION: They can be painted with water (see Artisan media). Washing the brushes with soapy water is quick and easy. Remember that once dry, these paints will no longer dissolve in water. For outdoors, you don't need to carry solvents. Just find a water source and to keep your palette and brushes clean all you need is water and they're eco-friendly I either changed my color scheme a bit or bought a cadmium red separately from the kit. Yellow Cadmium is the only color with "drier" density and I use artisanal linseed oil to make this color more oily. I also bought White 200ml in addition to the set.
