***UPDATE 4***Upgrade to 3 stars You must have new firmware installed or the app updated. The vacuum cleaner is now leaving the dock straight (previously always left and then rotated about 200 degrees, so it always started cleaning at an angle). The room display now works. If you select all the rooms, it will FULLY clean one at a time before moving on to the next. Now it finds the dock fine and no longer just spins in circles and stands still. It's still very noisy, hence the 3 stars. I will update the information over time. *** UPDATE 3 *** Downgraded to one star. I caught video of him just running in circles and crashing into the dock. You hear like LOUD. I just started the bot when the video was shot. He left the dock, sat there for a while, and then began to walk in circles. After turning it off and on again, everything was fine. I have to turn it off and on again every few cleanings. RUN FROM THIS VAC until they fix the bugs. ***UPDATE 2*** I had to delete the map again and recreate the map. The card was corrupted and the application kept crashing. I think Shark introduced this too early to compete with Roomba and the self-cleaning bin. The vacuum itself has good suction power but is very noisy on hardwood floors and tiles. The carpet is a little quieter, but not by much. Hit or miss dock detection after an hour of cleaning. Sometimes he just walks in circles five feet from the dock and stops. I have to pick it up and put it in the dock. Other times it goes straight to him through the whole house. This is with full lighting in the rooms. It just gets confused. I hope there will be new updates and possibly a firmware update for the bot itself. I'm still trying to try ***UPDATE*** After showing the entire floor plan and setting up rooms, it cannot distinguish between rooms. I can choose which rooms to clean, but it still cleans the entire floorplan. Real cleaning is just AMAZING! Application. Not as much. This would be a 5 star vacuum but WOW it's LOUD! And it's not the engine. This is a new type of brush head. Between the fins and the teeth that clean the brush roll, it constantly makes a "slapping" sound as if something is in the brush. I have Shark S87, Deebot N79s, Samsung R7040 and Coredy R650. Everyone is super calm (even the other shark) but this one! Man is that loud! It has a patented brush roller, so it cannot be changed. The shark must do something about this noise! Forget running it at night. You can hardly speak when he works. I'll contact Shark about this and update my review once I get a response.
