So it's not really wet sand compatibility, there is a red throat called wet sand that you can use with your DAwood electric rotary sander (yeah yeah you keep the damn one water source away from machine and extension cord) I used a small wet osh sponge and choked myself. And the choice was a very extensive gradation of grit. I did my paint job from 220 up to 1000 in increments that removed the scratches from the previous grit. And it worked, using 2 discs per grit on a 6ft x 16ft boat hull. It was VERY quick and cheap compared to hand sanding or DA pneumatics and lots of minimum purchases of a few grains. Plenty left for the next gloss paint project.
