Overall, I really like this meat thermometer. Magnets are conveniently attached to the side of the stove. The touch screen is easy to use and changing the temperature/doneness/timer is very easy. I used it with short ribs crust. You have the perfect, juicy and flavorful environment. It is compact and easy to store. The only problem I have is the size of the probe. If it's not placed squarely on the thickest part of the meat, the exposed part can trap ambient heat that doesn't come from the meat itself, and it's easy to undercook. It is better to use a smaller probe fully submerged in water. Otherwise, the price of this thermometer is very good. Can be used with a grill, oven, broiler and even a slow cooker. I read some reviews saying it stopped working after a few uses. I'll see if that happens and keep everyone posted.
