A lot of research led to this purchase and so far so good. Installed the unit under my desk and with some cables it was a good solution for work and a 3 monitor home system. A few things to watch out for: 1) Latency of the wireless mouse when plugged into the USB port on the mouse. StarTech Solution: Connect your mouse keyboard to one of the "hub" ports. Now it works much better, no lags. 2) Hotkeys don't work. According to StarTech Support, most gaming keyboards are not supported because their codes/signals differ from standard keyboards. I'll have to use a standard keyboard for testing, but I probably haven't had any luck with the hotkey functions. 1 star docking is a shame and not advertised, but StarTech can't list everything that isn't compatible. If I hadn't installed this within reach, this would have been a bigger problem. Nobody wants to demote components. It should also be noted that StarTech's technical support was surprisingly knowledgeable and helped get my questions answered.
