A lot of research led to this purchase and so far so good. Installed the unit under my desk and with some cables it was a good solution for work and a 3 monitor home system. A few things to watch out for: 1) Latency of the wireless mouse when plugged into the USB port on the mouse. StarTech Solution: Connect your mouse keyboard to one of the "hub" ports. The KVM part of the switch works great! But the USB and audio part is not very good. None of my computers recognize my webcam when it's plugged into the switch, so I can't use the 2 extra USB ports. Also, the audio picks up a lot of interference from mice and monitors. . After receiving this unit and searching the internet for a manual, I found that it seemed to only be compatible with DVI-D single - connection. , despite the fact that its female ports are DVI-I. I was able to trace multiple DVI-D single link cables and make sure they were working, but the set top box still refused to send video to my monitors. But there's good news - the USB ports work! It's essentially a $350 switchable USB hub. Don't waste your time or money.

Device works well with a few minor issues. First, as stated in the documentation, it doesn't work with wireless keyboards or mice.
