Review on 🚽 ETERNA Air Drain Blaster: High-Pressure Plunger for Bath, Toilet, Sink, and Floor Drain Clogs by Dave Hess

I needed something easier to use than a plunger for some relatives who have to deal with squeaky plumbing for both the sink and toilet. They are getting old and convenience was the top priority. It was also impossible to repair the tubes, so I considered this piston pistol as an alternative. Young. it exceeded my expectations! SMALL BUT POWERFUL: It's very easy to underestimate how much power this can give a clog and so far it's taken no more than a nudge to get the job done. All you have to do is pump 10 times to load compressed air, attach one of the rubber seals to the gun's muzzle, push it down the toilet (or sink) and pull the trigger. Then a concentrated and powerful airflow causes dehydration. COMPACT AND HANDY: The gun itself is compact enough to easily fit under or in a standard bathroom vanity. It comes with rubber grommets useful for both the toilet and the sink. SOME ADDITIONAL TIPS: Some things I've found about using this gun that might be helpful to others: Fill it up with just five to ten bursts when it's new. The air will sound like it's leaking a bit when taken out of the box, but I attribute that to the air seals getting fine tuning since they're new, straight from the factory. After two or three shots, it works fine and the sound of the leak goes away. When using with a sink, close all overflow drains. It is enough to use a piece of adhesive tape or to plug the ventilation holes with a rag. This will prevent air from being blown out of these areas. Not transferred. The manual says to press no more than 40 presses, but I haven't come across a situation where more than 10 is required. Do not clean it with bleach or harsh solvents. I don't think it's necessary. After use, I find that just rinsing it off in the shower is more than enough. It is great! I love mine and the people who use it regularly do too.
