Review on πŸͺš LM75R010 Freud 10-inch x 30T Glue Line Thin Kerf Ripping Blade - Optimal for Industrial Use by Antonio Bacon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Flawless cuts with mirror-like smoothness.

After a little reading, I decided I needed a blade to break the glue line. Freud has become my favorite blade for all my tools, including cutters. I've had nothing but flawless results with both the Industrial line and the Diablo line with lower rental prices available at a large orange shop and at Revain. I made a very important and visible glue for my robe, this is the trick. my new living room and something to sit and stare at and bemoan any mistakes or less-than-perfect matches. No pressure lol. I looked at different connection methods but settled on this drive. I installed a blade in my Forrest muted saw and spent the extra time setting everything up as best I could before making a few test cuts. From the first cut I was impressed compared to my combo or cheaper drives. The mirror is smooth and sparkling clean! This blade is a winner! A friend of mine who is an experienced carpenter couldn't figure out how good the glue line was, perfect isn't a word I use lightly but it's pretty damn close. As a newbie to fine woodworking and asking from someone more advanced I felt pretty good but to be honest it was a blade. My glue line came out exactly how I envisioned it and I have a feeling it will keep up with anyone's glue lines. Yes, I felt like I deserved a seat at the big kid's table, thanks in large part to the good work on this blade. Since then I've bought the best crosscut blade that Freud offers and have reserved these two for critical cuts and use Diablo blades or some other everyday cutting brands that aren't as popular. A cheap sharp blade outperforms an expensive dull one every day. As such, I expect these two blades to last for years as I'm a weekend warrior at best. If you're looking for near-perfect cuts, I think you'll be happy. with this. To be honest I haven't cut with a Forrest blade (or any other super expensive option) but I just don't see much room for improvement over Freud.

Pros
  • Laser-cut anti-vibration grooves greatly reduce vibration and side shift when cutting, extending blade life and providing a sharp, chip-free, pristine finish
Cons
  • There are some nuances
