Very small and light. Excellent assembly instructions. Designed without a spring on the chain or carriage, which I find a disadvantage as it doesn't allow the door to move freely. Thus, the gate cannot be fully closed because as soon as it touches the ground, the automatic safety reset is activated and the gate opens. The result is that the door should be closed leaving a small gap (1/4-1/2 inch) above the sill. The gap must be filled with a very soft rubber gasket. The wall mount can be attached to the wall using any two of the four holes, not just the horizontal holes as indicated in the instructions (using the vertical holes makes it easier to attach to the stand). .The programming explanations are unclear in that when starting the up or down travel limit setting, the RELEVANT button must be pressed to start programming. Very quiet block. Appendix 5-4-20. See photos of my modifications.1. The bracket (A) attaches to an existing screw (5/16" - 18 x 2") and to the wall. It stabilizes the rail and prevents it from bending when the door is closed.2. I added an extension (white) using part of my old opener. It is bolted securely to the straight part of the lever handle with a bolt (D) which also secures a U-clamp (C} (used from an old reel) which acts as a stop for the lever. Another bolt (B) Die Extension bracket is secured with two nuts but not tight, which allows the curved door arm to pivot.The spring (E) (not very strong, lightly hand-tightened) pulls on the extension so it acts as a strut for the auto system to compensate the absence of a spring in the carriage and allows the door to close smoothly and correctly.As you can see in the photo, the door is closed and the curved lever is in a position between the two stops defined by the U -clamp.Have fun !
