Works great for my purpose. Looking for something to use as a handle to carry my 40oz. stainless steel water bottle. It came with a metal carabiner, but I can be pretty nit-picky, and I didn't want the clanking sound or potential scratching of paint from a carabiner. I experimented with different options, then came across these. The plastic coating meant no clanking or scratching of paint, but when full, the weight of the bottle would put significant amount of stress on the cable and I was concerned about the connectors separating from the cable or coming unscrewed. Two and a half months of daily use as a carrying handle and no problems, and connectors are still soundly secure.
