Review on Achim Home Furnishings FTVMA44820 Nexus Dark Slate Marble 12-Inch Vinyl Tile - 20 Pack, Covers 20 Sq Ft by Mark Tompkins

In 2013 I bought this tile (in a different color) to make a basement floor. I was very happy with the quality of the tiles and the result. This year I decided to change the color scheme and ordered again from the same company. What was my surprise and disappointment when I found several problems this year: 1) There were only 19 tiles in one of the 20 tile boxes 2) In the same case, all 19 tiles were cracked in the corner. I am sure it was not damaged in transit as there is a large red X on the case in question. It must have been returned and resold. I will be returning this case after the holidays. 3) no adhesive was present in at least 4 cases; The tiles came off the paper naturally. Luckily I had glue on hand otherwise I would have spent the money on 4 boxes and I would have had to use overflow tiles. In any case after the holiday rush I will be returning at least 7 boxes to the company - one damaged box and more boxes that would have been used for utility rooms and laundry. This project took much longer than necessary because I had to apply the glue myself. VERY NECESSARY, especially as I have already had good experiences buying this tile in the past. My biggest disappointment is the fact that they intentionally sent me a damaged box with a missing tile, otherwise there would have been a big red X on the box.
