Worked perfect for testing a lawnmower RPM
Worked right away. Simply open the battery cover with a coin and pull the plastic tab to activate it. To use it, I wrapped the RPM sensor wire around the outer rubber of the spark plug wire on my lawnmower several times and then started the mower. Transactions are displayed correctly. It was on a Honda HRX217. The tachometer has a setup menu for different engine types (2-stroke, 4-stroke, etc.). For a standard 4-stroke lawn mower, it worked right out of the box.
