It wasn’t terribly difficult to hang, the hardest part was lining up the brick pattern. Once I figured that out, it wasn’t horrible, but the perfectionist in me was freaking out when the bottom didn’t line up exactly. But there was furniture in front of it, so I decided to just grin and bear it. Then I opened the second roll, and it immediately went down hill. First off, they were different shades of red. You might not notice right away, but if you look twice, it’s just annoying. And then the pattern was just slightly different in size, like it was maybe 5% larger. I would get the pattern lined up, and then after about a foot or two the bricks wouldn’t line up right any more, so I would cut it, then slide up the next section a wee bit just to line up the bricks again. Just to have to cut it again in a foot or two and do it all over. I only did a small area between two windows for a Harry Potter 9 3/4 theme in my daughter’s room, so fortunately I only needed to use one strip of the second roll. But between the colors being a little different, and the pattern not matching exactly, and the constant cutting just to try to match up the bricks, it just ended up a wonky looking. If the rolls matched exactly in color and pattern, the experience would have been completely different. A single consecutive roll did just fine. Maybe my 2 rolls were from different batches or different lots (same seller). But if you plan on doing an entire wall in this stuff? Forget it, you’ll go crazy.
