Don't repeat my mistake. I want to return them and get my money back. But I've waited too long and now I'm stuck. But I hope this review will help others avoid the same mistake I made. Unless you suffer from excruciating pain in your legs, DO NOT BUY THESE DIRT! I've worn New Balance shoes since I sold them in a sporting goods store as a young adult almost 30 years ago. Their comfort and materials made them some of the best shoes money could buy. When I graduated from college almost 26 years ago and got a job as an engineer, I wasn't allowed to wear running shoes to work. The regular "work shoe" didn't have the support or cushioning that the NB did. But then I found these BLACK sneakers and no one noticed I was wearing them! So I've been a NB customer for a long time. Unfortunately, finding them in 11D has become a chore. Every store I visited had a wide (EE) or extra wide (EEE) and not a medium (D) width. And when I found her at Revain, I was overjoyed. It was REALLY short. These Mx623V3 NB shoes were the WORST I have ever owned. They were fine for about a week and then the leather upper started to show signs of premature wear. Then they started to torment me with their feet. And I'm not saying they hurt. I'm talking about the feeling like someone had driven nails into my heels and arches. The sole has simply lost all its elasticity. I even tried insoles from Dr. Add Scholls, but that didn't work. They just went too far. I ended up ordering online from Famous Footwear (who will now take over my business). I personally think these are factory seconds. I compared them to the new NB 608 set and the differences between them were obvious. But strangely, the prices were almost the same. Hmm, let's find out.
