As a MW813 and Men's 623 user, I can say that 623 is a well-made shoe, comparable to 813, except that the toe is more pointed, similar to regular shoes, while 813 is much more rounded and wide box, almost orthopedic shape. This is my second pair of NB 623's that I have bought. My first pair was bought over 1 year ago and they were very comfortable for the daily walk.
