While this cable lets you stream videos and use it as an extension cord with your Nintendo Switch, according to other users, it will disable use of the dock's USB ports. This means that the AC adapter cannot be used or the Pro controller can be charged via the Switch dock. I bought Exuun USB Type C Extension Cable (3.3ft/1m), High Speed Super Fast Gen 2 (10Gbps) USB 3.1 Type C Male to C Female Extension Charging and Sync Cable for Nintendo Switch, Macbook and other devices and it worked Great. Disappointed that a brand like CableCreations that makes some of the best Type-C cables has this problem. I think it has to do with hunger for power.
